Frequently Asked Questions

Should I buy the hat or outfit first?

Either option works! If you want to make a WOW statement with your hat, start with the hat and pair it with a simple dress to let the hat shine. However, if you often struggle to find the perfect-fitting clothes, it’s usually better to choose the outfit first and then match the hat accordingly.

Watch this quick tutorial on how to properly measure your head in inches. If you find a hat that doesn’t quite fit, we can often stretch it or add removable hat fillers to customize the size for you.

Yes! We offer a range of hat boxes to fit any hat or fascinator. You’ll see the box options when you add a product to your cart.

A “hatinator” is a blend of a hat and a fascinator. It has a shallow crown, so it’s worn on a headband for security. Check out our video tutorial for tips on how to wear one.

We can’t guarantee an exact match without a fabric swatch. Colors may vary between screens and real-life fabrics. Feel free to send us a swatch via text or email for the best results.

We handle custom color requests on a case-by-case basis. Send us a photo of the item you like, and we’ll let you know what’s possible!

We’re happy to customize hats or fascinators we’ve previously made. However, we don’t offer this service for items created or purchased elsewhere.

Absolutely! We encourage it. Our retail store is open all through April and the week of the Derby for fittings.

Custom orders usually take 30-60 days. For Oaks and Derby, we stop accepting orders after the first week of April.

We are fully e-commerce! After placing your order, we can confirm everything via video call and provide a secret code before shipment for your peace of mind.

We usually recommend wearing it along your part line (e.g., if your part is on the left, wear the fascinator on the left). However, feel free to wear it wherever it looks best to you!

Check out this video for tips on wearing a fascinator with an elastic band. If you’d prefer a regular headband, contact us and we can make the switch for you!
